Pet Adoptions Online

In 2000 Pacheco co-founded the world's larget non-profit animal adoption website and online service, 1-800-SAVE-A-PET.com, now known as Adopt A Pet.

The strategy is to identify people who are about to purchase a dog or cat from a pet store, and instead, convert then into adopting ... from a humane society or rescue group.

This free pet adoption service, with well over 7 million visitors in it's second year, allows the public to search for up to 100,000 animals by age, size, breed, location, etc.  and find animals, who are available for adoption from thousands of dog pounds, humane societies, animal rescue groups, and shelters.
